Stephanie Roche (born 13 June 1989) is an Irish association football, footballer who plays as a Forward (association football), striker for Shamrock Rovers Ladies F.C., Shamrock Rovers of Dublin and the Republic of Ireland women's national football team. Her October 2013 goal in the Women's National League (Ireland), Women's National League (WNL) for Peamount United was the runner-up for the 2014 FIFA Puskás Award for the best goal of the year. At club level Roche played for various clubs in her native Ireland, including a successful three-year period at Peamount United from 2011 to 2014. The Division 1 Féminine, shortened as D1 Féminine or D1F, and currently known as D1 Arkema for sponsorship reasons, is the highest division of women's football in France. The terms street football and street soccer (American and Canadian English) encompass a number of informal varieties of association football. UEFA Group 3 of the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup qualification competition consisted of five teams: Norway, the Netherlands, the Republic of Ireland, Slovakia, and Northern Ireland.
