The State Council of the Republic of Korea () is the chief executive body and national cabinet of the Republic of Korea involved in discussing "important policies that fall within the power of the Executive" as specified by the Constitution. The most influential part of the executive branch of the Government of South Korea are the ministries. Member As of June 2018, the Executive Branch of the government operates 23 ministries, 17 administrative authorities, 2 boards, 4 offices, and 6 committees. The Executive, also referred as the Executive branch or Executive power, is the term commonly used to describe that part of government which enforces the law, and has overall responsibility for the governance of a state. In political systems based on the separation of powers, such as the USA, government authority is distributed between several branches in order to prevent power being concentrated in the hands of a single person or group. To achieve this, each branch is subject to checks by the other two; in general, the role of the Legislature is to pass laws, which are then enforced by the Executive, and interpreted by the Judiciary. Park Jin (; born 16 September 1956) is a South Korean diplomat and politician. He is the 16th, 17th, 18th, and 21st National Assembly (South Korea) members and the 40th Foreign Minister. Ministry Of Economy And Finance (South Korea)
The Ministry of Economy and Finance (abbreviated to MOEF) oversees the financial policies of the South Korean government. It publishes a monthly report on the national economy, known as the "Green Book." The current minister is Choo Kyung-ho. The headquarters is in the Sejong Government Complex in Sejong City.
