''Cabaret'' is a 2019 Indian romantic drama thriller dance film directed by Kaustav Narayan Niyogi, produced by Pooja Bhatt and Bhushan Kumar under the banner of Fisheye Network private limited. Principal photography of the film began around 9 June 2015. Originally scheduled for a 2016 release, alleged copyright violations led to delays before its eventual release on 9 January 2019. Pooja Bhatt (born 24 February 1972) is an Indian film director, actress, voice over artist and film maker. Born into the Bhatt family, she is the daughter of Indian filmmaker, Mahesh Bhatt. Bhatt played her first leading role in Mahesh Bhatt's television film ''Daddy'' in 1989. For the film, she won the Filmfare Award for Lux New Face of the Year for Best Female Debut. Neeti Mohan (born 18 November 1979) is an Indian singer. She sings mainly in Hindi and few Tamil films, but has also done songs in Marathi, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, Punjabi, and English.
