C Joseph Lanzbom is a Grammy winning American guitarist and songwriter. He is known for co-founding the band Inasense (later renamed Soulfarm), with Noah Chase. Personal background Lanzbom grew up in Lakewood Township, New Jersey, where he studied music and jazz guitar privately. He then went to the University of Miami to formally study composition and theory. Influences include Charlie Christian, BB King, Duane Allman, Pat Metheny, and T Bone Burnett. Pete Seeger
Peter Seeger (May 3, 1919 – January 27, 2014) was an American folk singer and social activist. A fixture on nationwide radio in the 1940s, Seeger also had a string of hit records during the early 1950s as a member of the Weavers, notably their recording of Lead Belly's "Goodnight, Irene", which topped the charts for 13 weeks in 1950. Members of the Weavers were blacklisted during the McCarthy Era. In the 1960s, Seeger re-emerged on the public scene as a prominent singer of protest music in support of international disarmament, civil rights, counterculture, workers' rights, and environmental causes. Terry "T" Lavitz (April 16, 1956 – October 7, 2010) was an American keyboardist, composer and Record producer, producer. He is best known for his work with the Dixie Dregs and Jazz Is Dead. Biography Born on April 16, 1956, Lavitz grew up in New Jersey. He started taking piano lessons at the age of seven and was offered a scholarship at the Interlochen Arts Academy in Michigan where he studied keyboard and saxophone. After high school he attended University of Miami's School of Music. In his senior year at the UM he was asked to join the Dixie Dregs. He accepted the invitation and played his first show in January 1980. ''Dregs of the Earth'', released in 1980, was the first Dregs album he could be heard on. God's Counting On Me, God's Counting On You
''God's Counting on Me, God's Counting on You (Single)'' is a 2012 single by Pete Seeger featuring Lorre Wyatt & Friends, produced and arranged by Richard Barone and Matthew Billy, and released by Billy Barone Productions. Originally recorded in 2010 aboard the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, the song was written immediately after that year's massive BP Oil Spill in the Gulf of Mexico. The spill is referenced in the lyrics. It was Seeger's final single release. The recording session was filmed live aboard the Sloop, while sailing up and down the Hudson River. The music video, directed by Damien Drake, can be viewed on YouTube:. It is one of the few, if not the only, music videos sanctioned and planned with Seeger and filmed especially to accompany one of his songs.
