Clubul Sportiv Municipal Olimpia Salonta, commonly known as Olimpia Salonta, is a Romanian professional football club based in Salonta, Romania, founded in 1911. Currently the team plays in Liga V. History CSM Olimpia Salonta was founded in 1911 as ''Nagyszalontai SC'' – in Romanian: ''CS Salonta'' – when Transylvania was still part of Austria-Hungary. Over the years, the team from the second city of Bihor County had several names like: ''SC'', ''CS'', ''CSM'', ''Steaua Roşie'', ''Metalul'', ''Stăruința'', ''Recolta'' or Olimpia, but regardless of the name, the club has become a regular presence of the 3rd and 4th league. The best period in the history of the club was in the 60's and 70's, when Olimpia, named at that time as ''Steaua Roșie'', ''Metalul'' and mostly ''Recolta'' played for 17 consecutive seasons in the Liga III. Stadionul Municipal (Salonta)
Stadionul Municipal is a multi-purpose stadium in Salonta, Romania. It is mostly used for football (soccer), football matches and is the home ground of CSM Olimpia Salonta, Olimpia Salonta. The stadium holds about 1,200 people. 2005–06 Divizia B
The 2005–06 Divizia B was the 66th season of the second tier of the Romanian football league system. The format has been maintained to three series, each of them consisting of 16 teams. At the end of the season, the winners of the series promoted to Liga I, Divizia A and the last six places from all the series relegated to Liga III, Divizia C. A promotion play-off was played between the runners-up of the Divizia B series to decide the fourth promoted team. A special ranking was made between the 10th place teams of every series and the team with the worst ranking in this standing was relegated, as well. Captain (association Football)

1957–58 Cupa României
The 1957–58 Cupa României was the 20th edition of Romania's most prestigious football cup competition. The title was won by Ştiinţa Timişoara against Progresul București. Format The competition is an annual knockout tournament. In the first round proper, two pots were made, first pot with Divizia A teams and other teams till 16 and the second pot with the rest of teams qualified in this phase. Each tie is played as a single leg. It is the first season in the history of Cupa României when all the games are played on a neutral location. If a match is drawn after 90 minutes, the game goes in extra time, and if the scored is still tight after 120 minutes, then a replay will be played. The Cupa României ( en, Romanian Cup) is a Association football, football cup competition for List of football clubs in Romania, Romanian teams which has been held annually since 1933–34 Cupa României, 1933–34, except during World War II. Bihor County () is a county ( județ) in western Romania. With a total area of , Bihor is Romania's 6th largest county geographically and the main county in the historical region of Crișana. Its capital city is Oradea. Toponymy The origin of the name Bihor is uncertain, except that it likely takes its name from an ancient fortress in the current commune of Biharia. Liga IV Bihor is the county association football, football division of Liga IV for clubs based in Bihor County, România. The competition is ranked as the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system and it is competed between 16 teams, the winner may or may not be promoted to Liga III, depending on the result of a promotion play-off that is disputed against a winner of the neighboring counties series.
