CR Caernarfon
Caernarfon Rugby Football Club ( cy, Clwb Rygbi Caernarfon) is a rugby union team from the town of Caernarfon, Gwynedd, North Wales. They currently play in the Welsh Rugby Union Division One North League. The club was formed in 1973, and the grounds are located at Y Morfa, Lon Parc, Caernarfon. The club colours are maroon and yellow. The club has a First, a Second XV, a Youth team (Under 19) and a Women’s Team. There is an extensive junior section consisting of Under 16, Under 14, Under 13, Under 12, Under 11, Under 10, Under 9 and Under 8 teams. The club's First Team competes in the WRU Division One North, including teams such as Nant Conwy, Llandudno, and Pwllheli. The first team is well-known for being a strong contender in the area and has been for a while. Caernarfon
Caernarfon (; ) is a royal town, community and port in Gwynedd, Wales, with a population of 9,852 (with Caeathro). It lies along the A487 road, on the eastern shore of the Menai Strait, opposite the Isle of Anglesey. The city of Bangor is to the north-east, while Snowdonia fringes Caernarfon to the east and south-east. Carnarvon and Caernarvon are Anglicised spellings that were superseded in 1926 and 1974 respectively. WRU Division One North
The Welsh Rugby Union Division One North (also called the SWALEC Division One North for sponsorship reasons) is a rugby union league in Wales first implemented for the 1995/96 season. The league was known as Division Four North before the 2008-09 season. Division One North, Two North and Three North are self-contained leagues within the larger Swalec leagues, and clubs can not be promoted to or demoted from the two leagues. Competition format and sponsorship Competition There are 12 clubs in the WRU Division One North. During the course of a season (which lasts from September to April) each club plays the others twice, once at their home ground and once at that of their opponents for a total of 22 games for each club, with a total of 132 games in each season. Gwynedd
Gwynedd (; ) is a county and preserved county (latter with differing boundaries; includes the Isle of Anglesey) in the north-west of Wales.
