Conservative Political Action Conference
The Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC; ) is an annual political conference attended by conservative activists and elected officials from across the United States and beyond. CPAC is hosted by the American Conservative Union (ACU). The first CPAC took place in 1974. The same name and acronym has been used for conferences in other countries. Castle Point Anime Convention (abbreviated as CPAC) is an annual two-day anime convention held during April/May at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, New Jersey. Carpenter Performing Arts Center
The Richard and Karen Carpenter Performing Arts Center in Long Beach, California is a theater that hosts a variety of events, including films, forums, and musical and theatrical performances. The venue is located on the campus of California State University, Long Beach. It was built in 1994 and has seating for 1,054. Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre (CPAC), commonly referred to as Casula Powerhouse, is a multi-disciplinary arts centre in Casula, a south-western outer suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Before being renovated and converted into an arts centre, the building was known as Liverpool Powerhouse. Since 2016 CPAC has hosted the Blake Prizes, comprising two art prizes and a residency, as well as the Blake Poetry Prize. History Liverpool Powerhouse was constructed in 1951, one of a number of identical power stations built to cater for growing demand in Sydney winters. In 1955, a high chimney was built to replace four shorter ones, which allowed the smoke to blow over residents' houses and soil their washing. In 1976 the power station was shut down, and bought by Liverpool City Council, New South Wales, in 1978 and allowed to become derelict for nearly ten years. Colorado Photographic Arts Center
The Colorado Photographic Arts Center (CPAC) is a non-profit photography organization that holds exhibitions and has a collection of photographic materials in Denver, Colorado. Originally founded in 1963, the Center has moved around to various spaces over the years, but now has found a home at 1070 Bannock Street in Denver's Golden Triangle neighborhood. In 1983 it was at 1730 Gaylord Street. It was in a Belmar storefront for 10 years before returning to Denver. It moved into its current space in 2017. In addition to exhibitions, CPAC offers classes and workshops. In December 2017, the Center held an exhibition of veterans' photography. Volunteers play an important part in its operations.
