Chaine St. Aubin Downer Jr. (born July 6, 1993), better known by his stage name CJ Fly, is an American rapper and producer from Brooklyn, New York City. He is a founding member and the oldest member of the hip-hop collective group Pro Era. Throughout 2012 and 2013, he was featured on many of the collective's projects and towards the end of 2013, he released his critically acclaimed mixtape '' Thee Way Eye See It''. Early life Downer Jr. was born on July 6, 1993 in Brooklyn, New York. He is the only child of a Bajan mother and Jamaican father. He began writing poetry by the fourth grade and by the seventh grade he began rapping. He attended Edward R. Jo-Vaughn Virginie Scott (born January 20, 1995), known professionally as Joey Badass (stylized as Joey Bada$$), is an American rapper, singer, and actor. A native of Brooklyn, New York City, he is a founding member of the hip-hop collective Pro Era, with whom he has released three mixtapes as well as his numerous solo projects. Jayson Mick Jenkins (born April 16, 1991) is an American rapper based in Chicago and signed to Cinematic Music Group. His debut album, ''The Healing Component'', was released in 2016, followed by ''Pieces of a Man'' in 2018. Early life and education Jenkins was born in Huntsville, Alabama. Following his parents divorce, he moved to Chicago, Illinois with his mother and sister when he was nine years old. As a child, Jenkins was heavily influenced by his parents' musical preferences. Malcolm Martin (born September 19, 1992), professionally known as Thelonious Martin or King Thelonious is an American hip hop record producer from Chicago, Illinois. He is a member of the Chicago collective Savemoney. Life and career Malcolm Martin was born on September 19, 1992 in Chicago, Illinois. Brandun DeShay (born May 10, 1990), stylized as brandUn DeShay, is an American rapper, songwriter and record producer from Chicago, Illinois. He produced for all of his releases. Aside from his solo career, DeShay was an early member of the Los Angeles-based hip hop collective Odd Future. Career DeShay was one of the early members of the hip hop collective OFWGKTA, appearing on Tyler, The Creator's first solo mixtape effort Bastard, before he decided to branch out on his own in 2010. ''1999'' is the debut mixtape by American rapper Joey Badass. It was released on June 12, 2012. It features production by Chuck Strangers, Lewis Parker, Lord Finesse, MF DOOM and J Dilla, among others. The mixtape also features guest appearances from members of Pro Era, a hip hop collective of which Joey Badass is a member. The mixtape is based heavily around musical samples.
