CHQX-FM is a Canadian radio station that broadcasts a classic hits format at 101.5 FM in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. The station is branded on-air as ''101.5 Beach Radio'' and is owned by Jim Pattison Group who also owns sister stations CFMM-FM and CKBI. CHQX's studios are located at 1316 Central Avenue. The station received approval by the CRTC in 2000 and began broadcasting in June 2001. On October 28, 2016, CHQX-FM rebranded to ''XFM 101.5'' but kept the same format. Prince Albert is the third-largest city in Saskatchewan, Canada, after Saskatoon and Regina. It is situated near the centre of the province on the banks of the North Saskatchewan River. Waskesiu Lake, also referred to as Waskesiu, is a hamlet in Prince Albert National Park, Saskatchewan, Canada. The hamlet is the only community within the park, located on the southern shore of Waskesiu Lake, is about north of Prince Albert. Most facilities and services one would expect to find in a multi-use park are available, such as souvenir shops, small grocery stores, restaurants, hotels and motels, rental cabins, campgrounds, three marinas, many beaches, picnic areas, tennis courts, lawn bowling greens, a gas station, laundromat, Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) detachment and a small movie theatre (which adds showings on rainy and cold days). La Ronge is a northern town in the boreal forest of central Saskatchewan, Canada. Its location is approximately north of Prince Albert where Highway 2 becomes Highway 102. La Ronge lies on the western shore of Lac la Ronge, is adjacent to Lac La Ronge Provincial Park, and is on the edge of the Canadian Shield. Big River is a town located on the southern end of Cowan Lake in north central Saskatchewan, Canada. CKBI is a Canadian radio station in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Owned by the Jim Pattison Group, it broadcasts a country format branded as ''900 CKBI''. The station serves as the broadcast home of the Prince Albert Raiders of the Western Hockey League, and also carries live broadcasts of Saskatchewan Roughriders games.
