CHOX-FM
CHOX-FM is a Canadian radio station that broadcasts a francophone adult contemporary format at 97.5 FM in La Pocatière, Quebec. The station originally signed on as CHGB in 1938 and changed through a number of different AM frequencies, until it moved to its last spot at 1310 AM before being authorized to move to the FM band in 1990 and adopting its current callsign. On April 23, 1992, CHOX signed on and in June 1992, the former AM transmitters left the air. Owned and operated by Groupe Radio Simard, it broadcasts on 107.1 MHz with an effective radiated power of 100,000 watts using an omnidirectional antenna ( class C). Saint-Aubert is a municipality in Quebec, situated in the L'Islet Regional County Municipality and the Chaudière-Appalaches administrative region. Saint-Aubert lies in the Côte-du-Sud federal electoral district. Baie-Saint-Paul ( 2011 Population 7,332; UA population 4,535) is a city in the Province of Quebec, Canada, on the northern shore of the Saint Lawrence River. Baie-Saint-Paul is the seat of Charlevoix Regional County Municipality. The city is situated at the mouth of the Gouffre River. It is known for its art galleries, shops and restaurants. The place gained some prominence in the 1770s when Doctor Philippe-Louis-François Badelard named a disease he was researching the "Baie-Saint-Paul maladie". This illness was the subject of one of the first medical publications done in Lower Canada.
