History The station was launched in 1926 as CFLC at 1010 kHz in Prescott, Ontario, Prescott. The station was operated by The Radio Association of Prescott (W.H. Plumb, A.G. Halliday, A.C. Move Radio
Move Radio is a brand of adult contemporary radio stations heard across Canada. The network was launched on December 27, 2020, by Bell Media. The launch of the network involved a re-branding of eleven radio stations across Canada, five in Ontario, four in British Columbia, one in Nova Scotia and one in New Brunswick. The launch of this network also involved the flipping of CJMG-FM's Top 40/CHR format to AC, as well the CHR format of CIBX-FM to hot AC. All stations adopted the slogan ''Today's Best Variety'', which is similar to other stations that use AC and hot AC formats, and have since then dropped their former brandings, including two stations with the " EZ Rock" brand. CJPT-FM is a radio station broadcasting at 103.7 FM in Brockville, Ontario, Canada. The station, owned by Bell Media, airs an adult hits format branded as ''Bounce 103.7''. History The station was originally licensed by the CRTC in 1987 to Eastern Broadcasting, the owner of CFJR. Eastern sold both stations to St. Lawrence Broadcasting before the FM station was launched. St. Lawrence launched the FM station in mid-1988 as classic rock CHXL. The former CHXL brandings were ''XL-103'' and ''The River''. Brockville, formerly Elizabethtown, is a city in Eastern Ontario, Canada, in the Thousand Islands region. Peter Charles Archibald Ewart Jennings (July 29, 1938August 7, 2005) was a Canadian-born American television journalist who served as the sole anchor of '' ABC World News Tonight'' from 1983 until his death from lung cancer in 2005.
