Associazione Sportiva Dilettantistica Ponziana (formerly Circolo Sportivo Ponziana 1912) is an Italian association football club based in the city of Trieste, founded in 1912. Currently playing in the Promozione Friuli-Venezia Giulia, the 7th level of the Italian football league, Ponziana however did spend some time in the Yugoslav First League following World War II, due to the city of Trieste's unique political situation at this time. Trieste's other club, Triestina, remained in the Italian League during this period. Ponziana also competed in the Campionato Alta Italia 1944. Stadio Giorgio Ferrini
Stadio (literally, ''Stadium'') is an Italian pop rock band formed in 1977. The members are Giovanni Pezzoli (drums), Roberto Drovandi (bass guitar), Andrea Fornili (guitar), and Gaetano Curreri (vocals and keyboard). Formation and early recordings The group had a long-standing arrangement as an accompanying band to Lucio Dalla, a Bologna-born singer. Stadio had its first notable public appearance in the mid-1970s, when the group appeared on Lucio Dalla's 1975 collaborative album with Roberto Roversi, '' Anidride Solforosa'' (Italian for "sulfur dioxide"). The members of Stadio on this album were Giovanni Pezzoli playing the drums, Marco Nanni playing the bass and Fabio Liberators playing the keyboard. Piero Pasinati, born Pietro Pasinati (; 21 July 1910 – 15 November 2000) was an Italian football player and manager, who played as a striker. Club career Pasinati was born in Trieste. During his club career, he played for Italian teams Triestina (1927–1939 and 1941–1946), A.C. Milan (1939–40), Novara Calcio (1940–41), Cremonese in Serie B (1946–48), and San Giovanni Trieste, in the third division (1948–49). With Triestina he played 256 Serie A matches. Carlo Cudicini
Carlo Cudicini (; born 6 September 1973) is a retired Italian footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He is the son of the former Milan goalkeeper Fabio Cudicini, and the grandson of Ponziana defender Guglielmo Cudicini. Cudicini is currently a club ambassador and loan player technical coach at Chelsea. Cudicini started his professional career at Serie A side Milan in 1992, but struggled to break into the first team and was loaned to Como before moving to Prato and then Lazio in 1996. Having only made a single league appearance for Lazio, he moved a year later to Castel di Sangro and then to Premier League side Chelsea in 1999, initially on loan. Fabio Cudicini (; born 20 October 1935) is an Italian former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper from 1955 to 1972. Standing at , he was one of the tallest goalkeepers of his time. Giovanni Galeone (born 25 January 1941) is an Italian football manager and former player. Playing career Galeone, born in Naples, moved to Northern Italy in his youth years, and played as a midfielder for Ponziana Trieste, Monza and Udinese, where he spent most of his playing career. Managerial career Galeone started his coaching career at 34 for Serie D team Pordenone, in 1975–76, obtaining an eleventh place in his debut season. His first coaching experience in a professional league came in the 1978–79 season for Cremonese of Serie C1, but ended with a sacking.
