C.D. Huíla
Clube Desportivo da Huíla is an Angolan association football, football club based in Lubango, Huila (province), Huila. The club is attached to the Angolan Armed Forces and has close ties with C.D. Primeiro de Agosto, Primeiro de Agosto. In the 2011–12 season of the Angolan second division, the club got promoted to the Girabola. They play their home games at the Estádio do Ferroviário da Huíla. On 17 April 2006 Agostinho Tramagal was appointed as their new coach. On 2 April 2012, Mário Francisco Soares Lopes was presented this Monday in Lubango city, southern Huíla province, as the new coach of the second division soccer team of Desportivo da Huíla. The new coach replaces Joaquim Finda "Mozer", who managed the team over the last two years. Daniel Ndunguidi Gonçalves, better known as Daniel Ndunguidi or simply Ndunguidi, (born 1956) is a former Angolan football player. Ndunguidi, whose career peaked in the 1980s while playing for Primeiro de Agosto as a forward, is widely considered Angola's most prominent football player, following independence. His fame and talent is only matched by that of Petro Atlético's José Saturnino de Oliveira aka "Jesus". In 1979, an attempt by Sporting Clube de Portugal to sign him was barred for political reasons as was another attempt by Benfica de Portugal in 1990.
