C.D. Estrela
Clube Desportivo Estrela is an association football club, based in Amadora, Portugal. It was founded on September 28, 2011, as a successor club to historic club C.F. Estrela da Amadora which folded the same year. History The club was founded by the "Sempre Tricolores" movement, as a way to resurrect the spirit and pay homage to the history of Estrela da Amadora, which was declared insolvent due to financial problems. The club only worked in the youth leagues until the start of the 2018–19 season. The senior team debuted on September 23, 2018, in a Lisbon FA Cup away match against FC Ota, which the ''tricolors'' won 4–1. In its first season they played in the Lisbon FA First Division Serie 2, level 6 of the Portuguese football league system, and placed 8th in the overall standings out of 16 clubs. Amadora
Amadora () is a municipality and urbanized city in the northwest of the Lisbon metropolitan area and 10 km from central Lisbon. The Portuguese football league system consists of several leagues bound together hierarchically by promotion and relegation. Reserve teams are allowed to compete in the main league system, as is the case with most of Europe. The Taça de Portugal (; "Cup of Portugal") is an annual association football competition and the premier knockout tournament in Portuguese football. For sponsorship reasons, it has been known as Taça de Portugal Placard since the 2015–16 season. Organised by the Portuguese Football Federation since it was first held in 1938, the competition is open to professional and amateur clubs from the top-four league divisions. 2018–19 Campeonato De Portugal
The 2018–19 Campeonato de Portugal was the sixth season of Portuguese football's new third-tier league, since the merging of the Segunda Divisão and Terceira Divisão in 2013, and the fourth season under the current Campeonato de Portugal title. A total of 72 teams competed in this division, which began in August 2018 and ended in June 2019. Format The competition format consists of two stages. In the first stage, the 72 clubs will be divided in four series of 18 teams, according to geographic criteria. In each series, teams play against each other in a home-and-away double round-robin system. In the second stage, the two best-placed teams of each of four Series will dispute a series of playoff matches to promote to the LigaPro. The two finalists will be promoted directly.
