Estádio Da Cidadela
Estádio da Cidadela is a stadium in Luanda, Angola. It is used mostly for association football, football matches, while sometimes hosting cultural events, including musical concerts. It is part of the Complexo Desportivo da Cidadela, along with the Pavilhão da Cidadela, Pavilhão Anexo and Pavilhão Anexo II. While originally holding 40,000 people, in 2006, the stadium's upper ring has been declared unsafe by the Confederation of African Football, CAF and banned for public use. Until Angola's independence in November 1975, the stadium has been owned by F.C. Luanda, Futebol Clube de Luanda, one of the most traditional and historical clubs in Luanda. Segundona aka Torneio de Apuramento ''(Qualification Tournament)'' or Gira Angola is the 2nd division of Angolan football (soccer). It is organized by the Angolan Football Federation and gives access to Angola's top tier football division Girabola. Unlike most league systems worldwide, Angola does not have a regular second-tier league system. The teams that are relegated from the top-tier league in Angola, the Girabola, are relegated to the provincial championship from which they originate, the so-called provincial stages. 2014 Gira Angola
The 2014 Segundona was the 20th season of the second-tier football league in Angola. The season runs from 27 July to November, 2014. Académica do Lobito the current league champions, were promoted to the 2015 Girabola. The league comprises 3 series of 6, 5 and 6 teams with the winner of each series being promoted to the 2015 Girabola. Girabola, or ''Campeonato Nacional de Futebol em Séniores Masculinos'', is the top division of Angolan football. It is organized by the Angolan Football Federation. The league winner and runner-up qualify for the CAF Champions League. Girabola ZAP In January 2016, Angolan subscription TV satellite and cable provider ZAP, the Angolan Football Federation and the Girabola clubs, signed a three-year deal in which ZAP will have broadcast rights over all Girabola matches.
