2024 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A
The 2024 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A will be the 68th season of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, the top level of professional football in Brazil, and the 21st edition in a double round-robin since its establishment in 2003. The competition will begin on 14 April and will end on 8 December 2024. The top six teams as well as the 2024 Copa do Brasil champions will qualify for the 2025 Copa Libertadores, Copa Libertadores. The next six best-placed teams not qualified for Copa Libertadores will qualify for the 2025 Copa Sudamericana, Copa Sudamericana and the last four will be relegated to Campeonato Brasileiro Série B, Série B for 2025. Esporte Clube Bahia (), known familiarly as Bahia, is a Brazilian professional football club, based in Salvador, capital city of the Brazilian state of Bahia. They play in the Campeonato Baiano, Bahia's state league, and the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B, Brazil's second tier league. Red Bull Bragantino, commonly known as Bragantino, is a Brazilian football club based in Bragança Paulista, São Paulo. It competes in the Série A, the top tier of the Brazilian football league system, as well as in the Campeonato Paulista Série A1, the highest level of the São Paulo state football league. The club was known as Clube Atlético Bragantino, before club administration was taken over by Red Bull GmbH in 2020 who renamed the club and changed its colours from its traditional black and white to red and white. Cuiabá Esporte Clube, commonly referred to as Cuiabá, is a Brazilian professional club based in Cuiabá, Mato Grosso founded on 12 December 2001.
