2015 Dhivehi Premier League
The 2015 Dhivehi Premier League was the first season of the Dhivehi Premier League, the top division of Maldivian football. The season began on 20 April 2015. The league was made up of the 8 clubs that broke away from the Dhivehi League at the end of the 2014 season. New league sponsors From the start of the 2015 season, the Dhivehi Premier League was sponsored by Ooredoo Maldives. The 2015 Second Division Football Tournament was the first season under its current league division format. The season began on 24 July and ended on 14 September. The 2015 Third Division Football Tournament is the first season under its current league division format. The season begins in June. 2015 President's Cup (Maldives)
The 2015 President's Cup is the 65th season of the President's Cup. New Radiant Sports Club are the defending champions, having beaten Eagles in last season's final in extra time. This is the first tournament under its current tournament format. The 2015 Maldivian FA Charity Shield, (commonly known as the 2015 Milo Charity Shield due to sponsorship reasons) was the 7th Maldivian FA Charity Shield, an annual Maldivian association football, football match played between the winners of the previous season's Dhivehi League and Maldives FA Cup, FA Cup. The game was played between New Radiant S.C., New Radiant, champions of the 2014 Dhivehi League, and Maziya S&RC, Maziya, champions of 2014 Maldives FA Cup. Maziya began the game more strongly and took the lead when Pablo Rodríguez (Spanish footballer, born 1985), Pablo Rodríguez scored in the 34th minute.
