2010 BMW Open
The 2010 BMW Open was a men's tennis tournament that was played on outdoor clay courts. It was the 95th edition of the BMW Open, and was part of the ATP World Tour 250 series of the 2010 ATP World Tour. The event took place in Munich, Germany, from 2 May until 9 May 2010. ATP World Tour 250 Series
The ATP 250 tournaments (previously known as the ''ATP World Tour 250'' tournaments, ''ATP International Series'', and ''ATP World Series'') are the lowest tier of annual men's tennis tournaments on the main ATP Tour, after the four Grand Slam (tennis), Grand Slam tournaments, ATP Finals, ATP Tour Masters 1000, ATP Masters 1000 tournaments, and ATP 500 tournaments. As of 2020 ATP Tour, 2020, the series includes 39 tournaments, with 250 ranking points awarded to each singles champion—which accounts for the name of the series. Peter Gojowczyk ( ; born 15 July 1989) is a German professional tennis player. He achieved a career-high ATP singles ranking of world No. 39 in June 2018. Thierry Ascione
Thierry Ascione (born 17 January 1981) is a retired professional tour male tennis player from France. He turned pro in 2000 and retired in September 2010, reaching a career-high singles ranking of World No. 81 in February 2004. He played Roger Federer in the second round of Roland Garros 2007, saving five match points in the third set and holding two set points before eventually losing in straight sets. He coached the former World No.3 WTA player, Elina Svitolina. He was also coach to former World No.5 ATP player Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and former World No.7 Richard Gasquet. Kevin Krawietz
Kevin Krawietz (born 24 January 1992) is a German professional tennis player who specialises in doubles. He is a two-time Grand Slam champion, having won the French Open doubles title in both 2019 and 2020 alongside compatriot Andreas Mies. The pair were also semifinalists at the 2019 US Open. Krawietz reached the mixed doubles semifinals at the 2021 Wimbledon Championships and 2022 French Open, partnering Květa Peschke and Nicole Melichar-Martinez respectively, and has qualified for the ATP Finals on three occasions. Nicolas Kiefer (; born 5 July 1977) is a German former professional tennis player. He reached the semifinals of the 2006 Australian Open and won a silver medal in men's doubles with partner Rainer Schüttler at the 2004 Athens Olympics.
