NRK3
NRK3 (NRK Tre) is a digital TV channel aimed at youth and young adults and produced by the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. History Launched on 3 September 2007, and on air from 19:30 each evening, the channel features such British and American shows as '' Sugar Rush'', ''Heroes'', ''Third Watch'', ''The Daily Show'', ''True Blood'', ''Top Gear'' and ''Primeval'', as well as Norwegian and Scandinavian youth productions like ''Topp 20'', and ''Det beste fra Åpen Post''. In addition the channel recently started broadcasting the immensely popular Australian soap-opera ''Neighbours''. Late at night, typically after midnight, NRK3 aired the show ''Svisj'', an interactive programme with music videos and SMS chat. ZTV Norway
ZTV Norway was a Norwegian entertainment television channel. Its programming consisted of music videos, movies and sitcoms. The channel was launched in Norway for the first time in 1995. It was unsuccessful, however, and it closed down in 1996. In 2002, ZTV returned to Norway, replacing the Viasat Plus channel. The second time around it quickly established itself as popular with younger viewers, this time with a greater emphasis on music and especially Norwegian artists. On September 8, 2007 the channel had its last broadcast, and was replaced by Viasat 4 TV3+ (formerly V4 and Viasat 4) is a television channel broadcasting to Norway owned by the Viaplay Group. Viasat Sport 24 was a Scandinavian sports channel. The channel started April 24, 2005. Viasat Sport 24 was showing several sports events in different squares on one television channel 24 hours a day complete with sports results, news and betting information. Disney Channel is a Scandinavia, Scandinavian children's channel owned and operated by The Walt Disney Company Limited, broadcasting in the Nordic and Baltic countries. History On February 28, 2003, almost 80 years since the founding of The Walt Disney Company and almost 20 years since the launch of the original Disney Channel in the United States, the Disney Channel was launched, and was then at the time exclusive to the Viasat (Nordic television service), Viasat satellite platform (Sirius 4). Later that year, it became available on digital cable networks, such as the Swedish Com Hem. TV4 Hits
TV4 Hits (branded as Hits in Norway) is a Scandinavian premium television channel showing movies and TV shows. The channel shows big blockbusters, independent movies, classic movies, movies from the whole world and erotic movies. The channel was launched as ''Canal+ Film 2'' on 1 May 2004. On 1 November 2007 it changed its name to ''Canal+ Hits'' as part of a larger reorganization of the Canal+ channels. In the Swedish feed, it timeshares with Canal+ Sport 2 which broadcasts a few games in the weekend. In the Norwegian and Finnish network the channel is however broadcast in full. The channel changed name to C More Hits on 4 September 2012 as of big rebranding. C More was discontinued on 14 August 2023, in favor of TV4 Play in Sweden. Consequently, the channel was rebranded as TV4 Hits and simply as Hits in Norway. NRK Super
NRK Super is a Norwegian TV & radio channel aimed at children, run by the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. The TV channel is broadcast on the digital terrestrial network, on the same frequency as NRK3 from 7am to 7pm, and was launched 1 December 2007. The NRK Super radio channel is broadcast on DAB radio (from 6am to 9pm) and the internet, and was originally named NRK Barn (''NRK Children'' in English). It was launched on 16 October 2007. NRK Super also has a web community where children can sign up and play games that allow them to get their own profile and get friends online.
