Viasat Sport 24 was a Scandinavian sports channel. The channel started April 24, 2005. Viasat Sport 24 was showing several sports events in different squares on one television channel 24 hours a day complete with sports results, news and betting information. V Sport Golf is a pan-Nordic television channel dedicated to broadcasting golf tournaments and golf-related programmes. V Sport is a group of Sweden, Swedish sports channels owned by Viaplay Group, broadcasting from the United Kingdom and constituting a part of the pan-Nordic V Sport offering. The Swedish V Sport channels except V Sport Motor and V Sport Extra are also distributed in Finland. History The channel was launched in 1999 as a pan-Scandinavian channel. It was launched to make use of the many sports rights in the MTG portfolio that weren't shown on TV3 and therefore were unused. The channel launched on 29 November 2005, as a replacement for the then pan-Nordic Viasat Sport 1 channel in Norway.
