C.D. Oro
Club Deportivo Oro is a football club that plays in the second division. It is based in the city of Guadalajara. The club was one of five clubs from the state of Jalisco to play in the Mexican first division. It only won one league title, back in 1962, and was runner-up five times in 1947, 1953, 1955, 1960 and 1964. After four years of absence the club was reformed and plays now in the second division. History Origins The club's history dates back to 1923, when a group of jewelers got together and founded the club to promote their company. The club joined the old Liga Occidental De Jalisco. Albino Ruvalcaba and Felipe Martínez Sandoval were the ones that really took on the idea of making this club worthy of playing in the first division. Back then there was no national league, but instead numerous amateur leagues across Mexico. Liga Amateur de Jalisco was one of the best at the time. Zapopan
Zapopan () is a city and municipality located in the Mexican state of Jalisco. Part of the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area, the population of Zapopan city proper makes it the second largest city in the state, very close behind the population of Guadalajara proper. Ramón Morales Higuera (born 10 October 1975) is a Mexican former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Morales made his professional debut in the Mexican Primera División in 1995, playing for Rayados de Monterrey in a 0–0 draw match, against Tecos UAG. Club de Fútbol Laguna (nicknamed La Ola Verde) is a football club. The club played in the Mexican football league system Primera División de México and it was based in Torreón, Coahuila, Mexico.
