Bø Sommarland
Bø Sommarland is one of Europe's biggest water parks, situated in Bø in Telemark, Norway. Bø Sommarland is located two hours from Oslo. It is owned by Parques Reunidos, who also owns Tusenfryd, another amusement park in Norway. Every summer around 200,000 people visit Bø Sommarland, which makes the park one of Norway's biggest tourist attractions. The park opening season is normally from beginning of June to the middle of August. History Bø Sommarland opened on 27 June 1985 as Telemark Sommarland. Bø, Telemark
Bø is a village and municipality in Telemark county, Norway. It is part of the traditional region of Midt-Telemark, but was historically regarded as part of Grenland. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Bø i Telemark ("Bø in Telemark"). Bø has been a settlement since ancient times, a parish since the middle ages and became a municipality (''formannskapsdistrikt'') in 1838. The area of Lunde was separated from Bø in 1867 to become a separate municipality. Bø has a population of 5,977 (2015). Telemark
Telemark is a traditional region, a former county, and a current electoral district in southern Norway. In 2020, Telemark merged with the former county of Vestfold to form the county of Vestfold og Telemark. Telemark borders the traditional regions and former counties of Vestfold, Buskerud, Hordaland, Rogaland and Aust-Agder. Oslo

Tusenfryd (lit. "Thousand Joys", also Common Daisy) is an amusement park at Vinterbro, Norway. The park is located 20 kilometers south of Oslo. Two of the longest motorway corridors in Norway, E6 and E18, meet nearby ''Tusenfryd'' and the park is located on the west side near where they meet. Terje Håkonsen (born 11 October 1974 in Vinje, Norway) is a Norwegian professional snowboarder. He is considered one of the most influential snowboarders in the history of the sport. In the book ''The way of the snowboarder'', Rob Reed wrote that "Haakonsen took the young sport of snowboarding and revolutionized nearly every aspect of it". Halvor Kleppen
Halvor Kleppen (born 3 September 1947 in Bø, Telemark) is a Norwegian media personality, theme park owner and writer. He was hired in Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation radio in 1973, and worked in the entertainment department. In the summer of 1982 he presented the show ''Sumarteltet'', where he toured with a circus and made an entertainment show from that. In 1982 he was awarded the ''Se og Hør'' readers' TV personality of the year award. He left the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation later that year to become a freelancer. He later hosted the show ''Starshot'' on TVNorge, where celebrities were invited to try skeet shooting. He also co-owns Bø Sommarland, a waterpark in Bø i Telemark.
