Halvor Kleppen
Halvor Kleppen (born 3 September 1947 in Bø, Telemark) is a Norwegian media personality, theme park owner and writer. He was hired in Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation radio in 1973, and worked in the entertainment department. In the summer of 1982 he presented the show ''Sumarteltet'', where he toured with a circus and made an entertainment show from that. In 1982 he was awarded the ''Se og Hør'' readers' TV personality of the year award. He left the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation later that year to become a freelancer. He later hosted the show ''Starshot'' on TVNorge, where celebrities were invited to try skeet shooting. He also co-owns Bø Sommarland, a waterpark in Bø i Telemark. He has also hosted a TVNorge summer show from here, ''Sommer i Sommarland''. He has written several books, mostly about local history or skiing. Bø, Telemark
Bø is a village and municipality in Telemark county, Norway. It is part of the traditional region of Midt-Telemark, but was historically regarded as part of Grenland. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Bø i Telemark ("Bø in Telemark"). Bø has been a settlement since ancient times, a parish since the middle ages and became a municipality (''formannskapsdistrikt'') in 1838. The area of Lunde was separated from Bø in 1867 to become a separate municipality. Bø has a population of 5,977 (2015). Bø's economy is mainly based on agriculture, forestry, tourism, education and public administration. Knut Bjørnsen
Knut Bjørnsen (26 July 1932 – 14 November 2008) was a sports commentator and journalist for the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. In his youth, Bjørnsen was a promising speed skater. He was junior Norwegian champion in 1951. He worked for the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation between 1961 and 1991, and was NRK's main commentator for speed skating most of those years, together with fellow NRK veteran journalist Per Jorsett. He also hosted the popular Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation game show ''Kvitt eller dobbelt'' ("Double or Nothing") for many years. In 1991, Bjørnsen left the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation, and began working for cable channel TV3, where he hosted the game show ''Lykkehjulet'' (a Norwegian adaptation of Wheel of Fortune). TVNorge (literally "TVNorway"; originally abbreviated TVN, now just abbreviated N in the logos) is a Norwegian television channel owned by Warner Bros. Discovery EMEA. History TVNorge went on the air on 5 December 1988 and was the first advertising-supported Norwegian channel. The channel was started with 50 000 NOK. The first broadcast was a live variety show from Oslo Cabaret with Swedish singer Lill-Babs and Norwegian pop group Tomboy as musical guests. Originally TVNorge broadcast via satellite and cable, later they have affiliated several local television broadcasters. Kari Sørby (28 October 1938 – 28 September 1987) was a Norwegian television personality. She was born in Kristiansand, and studied at the University of Oslo.
