Böhmerland (motorcycle)
Böhmerland, or Čechie as it was known domestically, was a Czechoslovakia, Czechoslovak motorcycle manufacturer from 1924 until World War II. Almost all aspects of this distinctive motorcycle were designed by Albin Liebisch, including the extremely long, all-welded tube-frame chassis, the built-up leading-link front forks, and Casting (metalworking), solid cast aluminum Motorcycle wheel, wheels, which were an industry first, not widely adopted until the 1970s. Sudetenland
The Sudetenland ( , ; Czech and sk, Sudety) is the historical German name for the northern, southern, and western areas of former Czechoslovakia which were inhabited primarily by Sudeten Germans. These German speakers had predominated in the border districts of Bohemia, Moravia, and Czech Silesia since the Middle Ages. Sudetenland had been since the 9th century an integral part of the Czech state (first within the Duchy of Bohemia and later the Kingdom of Bohemia) both geographically and politically.
