Butler Blue
Butler Blue IV, the current iteration of Butler Blue, is the Official Mascot of Butler University. Blue is a Red Fawn and White, Male, AKC-Registered English Bulldog and can be easily spotted by the marking above his right eyebrow. There have been four bulldogs to bear the name, with the most recent, who assumed the name in January 2020, taking over as mascot in the 2020–21 school year. Lizton is a town in Union Township, Hendricks County, Indiana, United States. The population was 488 at the 2010 Census. It is one of the three towns ( Pittsboro and North Salem being the other two) that make up North West Hendricks School Corporation. History Lizton was originally called New Elizabeth, and under the latter name was laid out in 1837 by Jesse Veiley, and named for his wife, Elizabeth. Sparty
Sparty is the mascot of Michigan State University. Sparty is usually depicted as a muscular male Spartan warrior/athlete dressed in stylized Greek costume. After changing the team name from "Aggies" to "Spartans" in 1925, various incarnations of a Spartan warrior with a prominent chin appeared at university events and in university literature. In 1943, MSU art professor Leonard D. Jungwirth designed a statue for the university, which had to be cast in terra cotta because of World War II rationing. In 2005, the university replaced Jungwirth's original statue with a bronze replica, moving the original indoors to protect it from the elements. Sparty appears in several other incarnations. Earvin "Magic" Johnson Jr. (born August 14, 1959) is an American former professional basketball player. Klout was a website and mobile app that used social media analytics to rate its users according to online social influence via the "Klout Score", which was a numerical value between 1 and 100. In determining the user score, Klout measured the size of a user's social media network and correlated the content created to measure how other users interact with that content. Rawhide (material)
Rawhide is a hide or animal skin that has not been exposed to tanning. It is similar to parchment, much lighter in color than leather made by traditional vegetable tanning. Rawhide is more susceptible to water than leather, and it quickly softens and stretches if left wet unless well waterproofed. "Rawhide" laces often sold for boots or baseball gloves are made of normal tanned leather rather than actual rawhide. Rawhide is not pliable when dry and would be unsuitable for that use.
