Bundesvision Song Contest 2013
The Bundesvision Song Contest 2013 was the ninth edition of the annual Bundesvision Song Contest musical event. The contest was held on 26 September 2013 at the SAP Arena in Mannheim, Baden-Württemberg, following Xavas's win in the 2012 contest in Berlin with the song "Schau nicht mehr zurück". The contest was hosted by Stefan Raab, Sandra Rieß, and Elton (comedian), Elton in the green room. The contest was produced by Brainpool TV. The winner of the Bundesvision Song Contest 2013 was Bosse (musician), Bosse with the song "", representing Lower Saxony. In second place was Johannes Oerding representing Hamburg, and third place to representing Berlin. Bosse's song was released in August 2013, placing at number 83 on the German single chart; after winning the contest, the song rose to number 25. Stefan Raab
Stefan Konrad Raab (born 20 October 1966) is a German television producer, businessman, musician, and former entertainer and television host. From 1999 to 2015, he hosted the late-night comedy talk show ''TV total'' and has also created a number of other television shows, such as ''Schlag den Raab'' and ''Bundesvision Song Contest''. Raab began his TV career hosting the comedy show ''Vivasion'' in 1993. He became well known in 1994 after composing a hit single spoofing national football coach Berti Vogts. In the early 2010s, Raab was considered the "most powerful man in German entertainment television". Raab is also known for his recurring role as producer, writer and performer of German entries to the Eurovision Song Contest between 1998 and 2012. ''Bravo'' is the largest teen magazine within the German-speaking Europe, German-language sphere. The first issue was published in 1956. History The founder of ''Bravo'' was columnist Peter Boenisch. Maximilian Herre (born 22 April 1973) is a German rapper, singer-songwriter and music producer who rose to fame as a member of the group Freundeskreis. He is also A&R for the record label Nesola, a joint venture with his wife Joy Denalane, among others. Early life and career Herre was born in Stuttgart. After hearing the 1990s German hip-hop group Advanced Chemistry, he decided to create hip-hop himself in German. De fofftig Penns (Standard German: ''Die fünfzig Pfennige''; English: ''The Fifty Pennies'') was a German hip-hop and electro band. Unusually, their lyrics are exclusively in Low German, a minority Germanic language of northern Germany and the eastern Netherlands. The Bundesvision Song Contest 2007 was the third edition of the annual televised Bundesvision Song Contest, a German reality singing contest. The contest was held on 9 February 2007 at the Tempodrom in Berlin, following Seeed's win in the 2006 contest in Hesse with the song "Ding". The contest was hosted by Stefan Raab, Johanna Klum, and Elton in the green room. Contest overview The participants were announced by ProSieben on 28 November 2006. On 15 January 2007, Stefan Raab began presenting each participant and their state on his show ''TV total'' for four weeks. The contest was originally to take place on Saturday 10 February, but was brought forward by a day so to not clash with ''Deutschland sucht den Superstar''.
