"Bullet" is the second single from the debut album ''The Prize Recruit'', by Australian nu metal group Superheist. It is a reworked version of "Bullet for You", a B-side from the previous single "Crank the System". It exceeds the original in quality and bombast. "Bullet" which was co-written by band members, Richard William "DW" Norton, Roderick "Burger" McLeod, and Fetah Sabawi. climbed to No. 45 on the ARIA Singles Chart. The album and single were produced by Kalju Tonuma Background In mid-1999 Superheist toured nationally backing Sepultura, but shortly their bass guitarist, Simon "Si" Durrant left and returned to his home town of Adelaide where he joined a short-lived project, Screwface:13. He was replaced on bass guitar by Andrew Corey Dedman. Superheist
Superheist is an Australian metal band, which formed in 1993. They have released two EPs, thirteen singles, one compilation/live album and four studio albums, two of which, 2001's ''The Prize Recruit'' and 2002's ''Identical Remote Controlled Reactions'', reached the top 20 on the ARIA Albums Chart. After a twelve-year hiatus, their 2016 comeback album "Ghosts of the Social Dead" reached No. 3 on the AIR Charts and remained in the Top 10 for four weeks. It was recorded at Sing Sing Studios in Melbourne by Superheist and producer Kalju Tonuma and released on 15 April 2001. It peaked at No. 12 on the ARIA Albums Chart. Kalju Tonuma
Kalju Tonuma is an Australian music producer, songwriter, drummer and performer of Estonian descent. He is one half of the production team MEJU (pronounced "me-you") which he founded with Megan Bernard in 2014. He also manages record label Of One Kind and live-stream venue The B Side. Tonuma also performs as the drummer for Anactoria, Megan Bernard and The Indulgence. He began his career in 1989 at Platinum Studios in South Yarra, Australia. He has been nominated for a number of Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) Music Awards. "Crank the System" is the lead single by the Australian nu metal band Superheist from their first album ''The Prize Recruit''. It was issued ahead of the album on 27 November 2000 on Shock Records' imprint Pivotal Records. The track was co-written by all five Superheist members and peaked at No. 45 on the ARIA Singles Chart. The album and single were produced by Kalju Tonuma. The B-side includes a grindcore version of the main song, then "Two Faced", "Pulse", "Move the Fuck Around" and "Bullet for You" – an early demo of the next single from the album.
