Bukit Kangkar
Bukit Kangkar is a small town in Mukim Serom, Tangkak District, Johor, Malaysia. The town is approximately 16 km from Muar and 12 km from Tangkak. The town is centered on villages and modern housing areas. The 2 main villages are Kampung Parit Pelampong and Kampung Gelugur. It is the first town on the way to Muar from the toll exit in Tangkak Interchange of the PLUS Expressways. It is easily identified once you've catch a glimpse of 2 big water tank from the road. Tangkak District
The Tangkak District is a district in western Johor, Malaysia, bordering Malacca to the west. The district also shares a 2 kilometre border with Negeri Sembilan to the northwest. The district capital and largest city is Tangkak Town. Geography The district covers Tangkak town, Tanjung Agas, Kesang, Sungai Mati, Serom, Sagil and Bukit Gambir.. History The district was previously an autonomous sub-district (daerah kecil) covering the north-western part of the Muar District, separated from Muar Town proper by the Muar River. Muar ( Jawi: موار) or Bandar Maharani, is a historical town and the capital of Muar District, Johor, Malaysia. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Malaysia to be visited and explored for its food, coffee and historical prewar buildings. Tangkak
Tangkak ( Jawi: تڠكق) is a town and the capital of Tangkak District in Johor, Malaysia. The town is nicknamed "Fabric Town" or "Syurga Kain" in honour of its many textile shops. It is also well known as being a major entry point to Mount Ledang, the highest mountain in Johor. History, Etymology and Infrastructure Tangkak is located in the north-western corner of the state of Johore, bordering Melaka by the Kesang River and Chohong River and was formerly the second largest town in Muar District with full of loan shark. Tangkak was founded in the year 1901 at the foot of Mt. Ophir (1276m high) and was under the direct control of Muar district then. The Menteri Besar of Johor or Chief Minister of Johor is the head of government in the Malaysian state of Johor. According to convention, the Menteri Besar is the leader of the majority party or largest coalition party of the Johor State Legislative Assembly. Abdul Ghani Othman
Abdul Ghani bin Othman ( Jawi: عبدالغاني بن عثمان; born 14 November 1946) served as the 14th Menteri Besar of Johor in Malaysia from 1995 to 2013. He is a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), a component party of Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. He had held the political party position of Ledang Division Chairman, Johor State Liaison Chairman and national Supreme Council member in UMNO before.
