Budapesti TC
Budapesti Torna Club was a Hungarian sports club in Budapest and the first football club in the country. Its football team were the winners of the first two seasons of Nemzeti Bajnokság I, in 1901 and 1902. History The club was founded on January 21, 1897. It was the first official football club to be founded in Hungary, and it will soon be followed by many others. On September 18 of the same year, it played the first official match in Hungarian history, between two internal teams, the blue-white one and the red-white one, with the former winning 5-0. On October 31 it played the first international match of a Hungarian club, when it played against Austria's Vienna Cricket and Football Club in Vienna , losing 2-0. It was one of the founders of the Hungarian football leagues, the Nemzeti Najnokság, and the winner of its first two editions. Millenáris Sporttelep
Millenáris Sporttelep is a multi-use velodrome in Budapest, Hungary. It is currently used mostly for track cycling, cycling events but has also been used for association football, football matches. The venue has a capacity of 8,130 spectators and it opened in 1896. The track is and made of concrete. Nemzeti Bajnokság I
The Nemzeti Bajnokság (, "National Championship"), also known as NB I, is the top level of the Hungarian football league system. The league is officially named OTP Bank Liga after its title sponsor OTP Bank. UEFA currently ranks the league 28th in Europe. Twelve teams compete in the league, playing each other three times, once at home, once away, and the third match is played at the stadium that the last match was not played at. At the end of the season, the top team enters the qualification for the UEFA Champions League, while the runner-up and the third place, together with the winner of the Magyar Kupa enter the UEFA Europa Conference League qualification rounds. The Hungarian Cup ( hu, Magyar Kupa) is the Hungarian cup competition for football clubs. It was started by the Hungarian Football Association, the ''Magyar Labdarúgó Szövetség,'' in 1909, eight years after the commencement of the Hungarian League ( hu, Nemzeti Bajnokság). Besides all of the professional clubs of Hungary numerous amateur sides take part every year. These have to qualify through local cup competitions. The most successful participant in the Magyar Kupa has been Ferencváros with 24 wins, followed by local rivals MTK with 12 cups. The current holder is Ferencváros, having won their 24th title in 2022.
