Bruce Vanderveer
Bruce Vanderveer, professionally known as Automatic, is a Grammy-nominated American record producer, songwriter, and entrepreneur. He is currently signed to Sony/ATV Music Publishing and is the CEO/co-founder of the entertainment company InRage Entertainment. On his first production job, Automatic worked directly with Michael Jackson. Automatic has worked with artists such as Pink, Pussycat Dolls, Nicole Scherzinger, Christina Aguilera, Cher, Fabolous, James Brown and Raven Simone. In 2009, Automatic produced the #2 song on the Billboard Hot Singles Sales Chart, Cradle to the Grave, recorded by American Idol's Bettina Bush. His latest K-Pop record, "Rock The World", was recorded by K-Pop sensation JYJ's Kim Junsu (Xia). ''Xignature'' is the fourth studio album by South Korean singer Kim Junsu, released under his stage name XIA on 30 May 2016. The album features artists The Quiett, Automatic, Crucial Star, and Paloalto. Background The album name is a blend of his stage name "Xia" and the word "Signature". Nice & Smooth is an East Coast hip hop duo from New York City that consists of Gregory O. "Greg Nice" Mays (born May 30, 1967) and Darryl O. "Smooth B" Barnes (born August 3, 1967) plus their deejay Tedd "DJ Teddy Tedd" Whiting. The duo released four albums between 1989 and 1997. Their first collaborative appearance was on the single "Dope on a Rope"/"Skill Trade" on Strange Family Records in 1987. ''Uncommitted'' is XIA's first single. It consists of title track "Uncommitted" and an oriental version of the title song of his first Korean studio album ''Tarantallegra'', which was released earlier in 2012. Both songs on this single are sung in English. The R&B track "Uncommitted" was composed by Bruce 'Automatic' Vanderveer. The oriental version of "Tarantallegra" added some Korean touch to the original song by using the traditional Korean instrument called kkwaenggwari and Xia also sang in Korean style towards the end of the song.
