Bruce Peninsula Multisport Race
The Bruce Peninsula Multisport Race is a multisport race with no Orienteering, navigational component, held on the Bruce Peninsula since 2011:. Racers follow a marked course on a combination of private and public land and race in multiple stages of paddling, mountain biking and trail running. The course is announced only to the racers on the morning of the race, is five stages long and approximately in length, and can be done solo, in teams of two, or as a relay race. There is also a Sprint Distance Triathlon, sprint distance which is typically in length, as well as a children's race that takes place concurrent with the full distance. The event takes place annually on the second weekend in August and is based out of Wiarton, Ontario, Wiarton, in Ontario, Canada. Wiarton () is a community in the town of South Bruce Peninsula, Bruce County, Ontario, Canada. It is located at the western end of Colpoys Bay, an inlet off Georgian Bay, on the Bruce Peninsula. Sprint Distance Triathlon
A triathlon is an endurance multisport race consisting of swimming, cycling, and running over various distances. Triathletes compete for fastest overall completion time, racing each segment sequentially with the time transitioning between the disciplines included. The word is of Greek origin, from τρεῖς or ''treis'' (three) and ἆθλος or ''athlos'' (competition). ''Eco-Challenge: The Expedition Race'' is a multi-day expedition length adventure race in which teams of four (five in the early years) competed. Boundless is a Canadian reality documentary series shown on Travel+Escape Channel and the Esquire Network. The series follows Simon Donato and Paul Trebilcock as they compete in the toughest endurance races on the planet. Series The series covers Donato and Trebilcock as they compete in eight endurance events worldwide over five months, and arose from the documentary film ''Go Death Racer'', produced by the same team. Trail Running
Trail running is a sport-activity which combines running, and, where there are steep gradients, hiking, that is run "on any unpaved surface". It is similar to both mountain and fell running (also known as hill running). Mountain running may, however, include paved sections.
