Brose Arena
Brose Arena (official spelling: brose ARENA) is the third largest multi-functional indoor arena in Bavaria, after the Olympic Hall in Munich, and the Arena Nürnberger Versicherung, in Nuremberg. History The rights relating to the name of the arena, built in 2001, and previously known as Forum Bamberg, were sold to JAKO (a manufacturer of team sports clothing) in March 2006. In connection with this process, building work was carried out to expand the capacity from 4,750 seats for basketball games (6,850 for concerts) to 6,820 for basketball with standing room (nearly 8,000 for concerts). The structural alteration work, which cost six million euros, brought the foyer forward by 20 meters, to make room for a new north stand. Brose Arena Bamberg
Brose is a Scots language, Scots word for an uncooked form of porridge: oatmeal (and/or other meals) is mixed with boiling water (or stock) and allowed to stand for a short time. It is eaten with salt and butter, milk or buttermilk. A version of brose made with ground oats and cold water is called crowdie, although that term is more often used for a crowdie, type of cheese. Michael Fritz Mittermeier (born 3 April 1966) is a German comedian. Early life Mittermeier was born in Dorfen, Upper Bavaria. During his childhood he lived in Bavaria. After school he studied theatre. Career In 1996, Mittermeier started the comedy program ''Zapped''. ''Zapped'' was shown on his tours in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Ilka Bessin (born 18 November 1971) is a German comedian and actress, best known for her role as Cindy aus Marzahn (German for "Cindy from Marzahn"). Early life Ilka Bessin was born in Luckenwalde, East Germany. After finishing school, she studied culinary arts and later trained to be a hotel manager. Sportfreunde Stiller () is a German indie rock band from Germering near Munich, Bavaria. History The band was founded by Peter Brugger (guitar, vocals), Florian "Flo" Weber (drums), and Andi Erhard (bass). They initially wanted to name themselves "Bodden" (after Association football, football player Olaf Bodden), before later settling for "Stiller". They took the name from their former football manager at SV Germering, Hans Stiller. As Stiller, the band played their first concerts in 1995. Seeed is a German hip hop, reggae and dancehall band based in Berlin. Founded in 1998, they have become well known in Germany and its neighboring countries.
