Brookhouse School
Brookhouse School (also known as Brookhouse International School) is an independent British curriculum co-educational day and boarding school that offers early years, preparatory and secondary schooling. The first and main campus is located in Langata, a suburb of Nairobi. The Runda Campus off Kiambu Road was opened in 2017. Academics Brookhouse follows the National Curriculum for England and students take IGCSE and A-Level at 16+ and 18+, respectively. Students take examinations through both the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) and Edexcel Boards. Curriculum The school is a British national System admitting students from 2yrs to 18 yrs. Nairobi ( ) is the capital and largest city of Kenya. Nikita Chepchumba Kering', popularly known as Nikita Kering', is a Kenyan musician, actress and media personality. Early life and education She was born on February 26, 2002, in Nairobi, Kenya. She attended Riara Springs Academy, Kilimani Junior Academy and Brookhouse International School where she completed her A-level studies from a partial scholarship, given to support her musical career. Career She started her career at an early age. In 2012, during an album launch by Emmy Kosgey, she sang to a huge audience, and was critically acclaimed for her performance. Eric Wainaina (born 28 August 1973) is a Kenyan singer-songwriter. His career was launched with his debut album, ''Sawa Sawa'', in 2001. Wainaina's music is a blend of Kenyan benga rhythm and East African guitars, with some modern harmony. Issah Mmari Wangui (May 20, 1981 – March 16, 2003), better known by his stage name E-Sir, was a Kenyan hip hop artist. He was the elder brother to fellow Kenyan rapper Habib. He was famous for his deft lyrical ability and command of the Swahili language. The phenomenal popularity of his music disproved the myth that Kenyan music could never compete with imported pop. Even long after his death, he is still widely regarded as one of the best rappers to emerge on the Kenyan hip hop scene.
