Brittany Baxter
Brittany Amanda Baxter (née Timko) (born September 5, 1985) is a Canadian retired soccer player who played professionally for five different clubs and earned 132 caps with the Canadian National Team. Club career Baxter's first senior club team was Vancouver Whitecaps Women. She also played on the University of Nebraska–Lincoln soccer team from 2003 to 2007, graduating in May 2007. She then signed for Melbourne Victory of Australia's newly formed W-League in October 2008, linking up with her former coach Matt Shepherd. In the first half of the 2009–10 season Baxter played in Sweden's Damallsvenskan league for Piteå IF, and in the second played for SG Essen-Schönebeck. She left Essen-Schönebeck during the summer of 2010. Baxter was signed by the Seattle Sounders Women in the W-League on May 2, 2014. Canada Women's National Soccer Team
The Canada women's national soccer team (french: Équipe du Canada féminine de soccer) represents Canada in international soccer competitions. They are overseen by the Canadian Soccer Association, the governing body for soccer in Canada. The 2007 Pan American Games, officially known as the XV Pan American Games, were a major continental multi-sport event that took place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from July 13 to 29, 2007. A total of 5,633 athletes from 42 National Olympic Committees (NOCs) competed in 332 events in 34 sports and in 47 disciplines. The 2004 FIFA U-19 Women's World Championship was held from 10 to 27 November 2004. It was the second edition of the youth tournament for women put together by FIFA, before being renamed FIFA U-20 Women's World Championship for the 2006 edition. The USL Championship (USLC) is a professional men's soccer league in the United States that began its inaugural season in 2011. The Damallsvenskan, Swedish for ''ladies all-Swedish'' and also known as OBOS Damallsvenskan for sponsorship reasons, is the highest division of women's football in Sweden. It is also referred to as the women's Allsvenskan. The term Allsvenskan alone is used to reference the men's division. The division consists of a league of 14 teams. A-League Women (known as the Liberty A-League for sponsorship reasons), formerly the W-League, is the top-division women's soccer league in Australia.
