British Rally Championship
The British Rally Championship is a rallying series based in the United Kingdom. The first championship was run in 1958 and it has been licensed by the Motor Sports Association (MSA) since 1999. MSA has opted not to run the series in 2015, instead giving its promotion to its own subsidiary (IMS) for 2016. Champions British Rally Championship *In 2000, Ipatti used both Kari Kajala and Teppo Leino as co-drivers during the season. Hence, runner-up Mark Higgins' co-driver Bryan Thomas was awarded the co-drivers title. Two similar situations occurred in 2004 & 2008. In 2004 David Higgins used Chris Wood, Craig Thorley & Daniel Barritt as co-drivers during the season. Hence, runner-up Austin MacHale' co-driver Brian Murphy was awarded the co-drivers title. In 2008,Wilks used both Phil Pugh and David Moynihan as co-drivers during the season. Again, runner-up Mark Higgins' co-driver Rory Kennedy was awarded the co-drivers title. 2010 British Rally Championship
The 2010 Dulux Trade MSA British Rally Championship was the 52nd season of the British Rally Championship. The season consisted of six rounds and began on 27 March, with International Rally North Wales. The season ended on 25 September at the International Rally Yorkshire. Dulux Trade was the title sponsor of the series, which is part of a two-year deal agreed in February 2010. Irishman Keith Cronin won the championship for the second year in a row in a Subaru Impreza, taking wins in both the Bulldog and Isle of Man rallies on the way to the title. Daniel McKenna (born 3 April 1987) is a rally driver from Co. Monaghan in Ireland. In 2014, he became only the third Irishman to win the British Rally Championship and earned a WRC-3 and JWRC drive for 2015. Guy Wilks
Guy Wilks (born 22 January 1981) is a British rally driver. Wilks started rallying at the age of 19, but currently drives for JRM in the FIA World Rallycross Championship. In 2011 Wilks drove for Peugeot UK in the Intercontinental Rally Challenge. In 2012 he did not compete. Career Wilks who was born in Bishop Auckland, County Durham became Ford Ka Junior Champion in 2000 in his first year in the sport, graduating within the Ford 'Ladder of Opportunity' scheme to the Puma 1400 series for 2001. He finished second in the championship. The following year Wilks entered the British Rally Championship (BRC) in a Super 1600 specification Puma, finishing fifth overall in the championship and third in the British Super1600 Rally Championship. The 2009 MSA British Rally Championship season was the 51st season of the British Rally Championship. The season consisted of six rounds and began on 28 March with International Rally North Wales. Subaru Impreza
The is a compact car that has been manufactured by the Japanese automaker Subaru since 1992. David Bogie
David Bogie (born 31 July 1987) is a British rally driver from Dumfries. He has held the title of Scottish Rally Champion for a record breaking six years from 2009 until 2013 and 2022. At the end of season 2011, he was both Scottish and British Rally Champion, the first person ever to hold both titles simultaneously. Career His first rally was in 2004 at the wheel of a Vauxhall Nova on a round of the SRC. He continued to use this car throughout 2005 and 2006 in the BTRDA Rally Championship in the 1400 section. In 2007, he had his first stage win, driving a Toyota Corolla WRC. That year he came third in the SRC, a feat he repeated in 2008. 2009 saw him mount a full season in the British Rally Championship where, despite two podium finishes, reliability problems with his Mitsubishi EVO X meant he had a disappointing season. 2011 British Rally Championship
The 2011 Dulux Trade MSA British Rally Championship was the 53rd season of the British Rally Championship. The addition of the ''Rally Sunseeker International'' to the calendar was due to bring the number of events to seven. The season begins on 26 February in Bournemouth and ends on 24 September in Yorkshire. Dulux Trade is once again the sponsor of the series, which is part of a two-year deal agreed in February 2010. Season Summary In September, following the International Rally Yorkshire, David Bogie and co-driver Kevin Rae were declared champions having won three out of the six events and scoring 110 points. Runners up with 100 points were Elfyn Evans and co-driver Andrew Edwards. The final podium position was taken by Jonny Greer and Dai Roberts with 95 points.
