Brigitte Oelke
Brigitte Oelke (born c. 25 May 1975 in St. Gallen) is a Swiss singer, actress, and dancer. Vita Brigitte Oelke's affection for music started very early in her life. Her mother was the leader of the children's choir at the St. Gallen Stadttheater, in which Brigitte took part herself. Furthermore, she learnt to play multiple instruments (piano, accordion, guitar and the recorder) but nevertheless, singing was her greatest passion. A friend of the family, Prof. Kurt Pahlen contributed to Brigitte's high-class musical education. During her education as commercial clerk she gained experience as a front woman, for instance in her first band ''Sterling oder Nightgambler'' with which she toured Switzerland. After completing her education at the age of 19 she spent a year as an au pair in Los Angeles where she received an education in singing, Jazz and Stepdance. Accordion
Accordions (from 19th-century German ''Akkordeon'', from ''Akkord''—"musical chord, concord of sounds") are a family of box-shaped musical instruments of the bellows-driven free-reed aerophone type (producing sound as air flows past a reed in a frame), colloquially referred to as a squeezebox. A person who plays the accordion is called an accordionist. The concertina , harmoneon and bandoneón are related. The harmonium and American reed organ are in the same family, but are typically larger than an accordion and sit on a surface or the floor. The accordion is played by compressing or expanding the bellows while pressing buttons or keys, causing ''pallets'' to open, which allow air to flow across strips of brass or steel, called '' reeds''. Brian Harold May (born 19 July 1947) is an English guitarist, singer, songwriter, and astrophysicist, who achieved worldwide fame as the lead guitarist of the rock band Queen (band), Queen. May was a co-founder of Queen with lead singer Freddie Mercury and drummer Roger Taylor (Queen drummer), Roger Taylor. His songwriting contributions helped Queen become among the most successful acts in music history. May previously performed with Taylor in the blues rock band Smile (band), Smile, which he had joined while he was at university. "Killer Queen" is a song by the British rock band Queen. It was written by lead singer Freddie Mercury and recorded for their third album ''Sheer Heart Attack'' in 1974. It reached number two in the UK Singles Chart and became their first US hit, reaching number twelve on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100. Roger Meddows Taylor (born 26 July 1949) is an English musician, singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and the drummer for the rock band Queen. As a drummer, Taylor was recognised early in his career for his unique sound''Rolling Stone'' – Issue 149 – 12 June 1973 and was voted the eighth-greatest drummer in classic rock music history in a listener poll conducted by Planet Rock in 2005. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001 as a member of Queen. Joy Fleming
Joy Fleming (born Erna Raad, 15 November 1944 – 27 September 2017) was a German singer. She is best known for her performance in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1975. She performed the song " Ein Lied kann eine Brücke sein" and was placed seventeenth out of nineteen countries. Despite its relatively low placing, the song has become popular amongst many Eurovision fans. She had a hit Disco record with the song and album "The Final Thing" in 1978 on Atlantic Records in the U.S. This was a covered song by the original artist Steve Bender (a member of the German Disco Group Dschinghis Khan) who also did the first version in 1976. She made a further Eurovision bid in 1986, participating in the German national contest with the song "Miteinander". The recorder is a family of woodwind musical instruments in the group known as ''internal duct flutes'': flutes with a whistle mouthpiece, also known as fipple flutes.
