Bride Rovers GAA
Bride Rovers GAA is a Gaelic games club located in the villages of Rathcormac and Bartlemy in east County Cork, Republic of Ireland. The club fields Gaelic football and hurling teams in Cork GAA and Imokilly GAA divisional competitions. They were runners up in the Cork senior hurling championship in 2008 to winners Sarsfields. The club colours are green white and yellow. Gaelic games ( ga, Cluichí Gaelacha) are a set of sports played worldwide, though they are particularly popular in Ireland, where they originated. Munster Junior Club Hurling Championship
The Munster Junior Club Hurling Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the AIB Munster GAA Hurling Junior Club Championship) is an annual hurling competition organised by the Munster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association and contested by the five champion junior clubs and one champion intermediate club in the province of Munster in Ireland. It is the most prestigious competition for junior clubs in Munster hurling. The Munster Intermediate Club Championship was introduced in 2001. In its current format, the championship begins in late October or early November and is usually played over a four-week period. Eoin Roche
Eoin Roche (born 2000) is an Irish hurler who plays for Cork Championship club Bride Rovers and at inter-county level with the Cork senior hurling team. He usually lines out as a right wing-forward. Playing career Bride Rovers Roche joined the Bride Rovers club at a young age and played in all grades at juvenile and underage levels. On 9 December 2018, he was at midfield when the Bride Rovers under-21 team qualified for the Under-21 A Championship final. Seánie Barry
Seánie Barry (born 1945) is an Irish former hurler and manager. At club level he played with Sarsfields, Bride Rovers, University College Cork and Imokilly and was also a member of the Cork senior hurling team. Early life Born and raised in Rathcormac, County Cork, Barry first played as a schoolboy in various juvenile competitions at Rathcormac National School before later lining out as a student at St Finbarr's College in Cork. He was a member of the first St Finbarr's team to win the Harty Cup in 1963 before later claiming the All-Ireland title. After beginning his clerical studies at University College Cork in 1964, Barry immediately began a four-year association with the senior hurling team. Barry Johnson (hurler)
Barry Johnson (born 17 June 1984) is an Irish hurler. His National Hurling League and All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship career with the Cork senior hurling team lasted one season. Born in Bartlemy, County Cork, Johnson first played hurling and Gaelic football with the Bride Rovers club. After playing in both codes in juvenile and underage grades at a divisional level, he won a Munster Intermediate Club Hurling Championship medal in 2003, having earlier won a county intermediate championship medal. Johnson made his debut on the inter-county scene at the age of nineteen when he was selected for the Cork intermediate team. He won an All-Ireland medal as a non-playing substitute in 2004. Brian Murphy (born 21 July 1982) is an Irish people, Irish Hurling, hurler who plays as a full-back for the Cork GAA, Cork senior team. Born in Rathcormac, County Cork, Murphy first played competitive hurling whilst at school in St. Colman's College, Fermoy, St. Colman's College. Cork Premier Under-21 A Hurling Championship (currently known for sponsorship reasons as the ''Evening Echo'' Cork County Premier Under-21 A Hurling Championship) is an annual hurling competition organised by the Cork County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association since 1973 for the top tier under-21 hurling teams in the county of Cork in Ireland.
