Brian Wood (born January 29, 1972) is an American writer, illustrator, and graphic designer, known for his work in comic books, television and video games. His noted comic book work includes the series ''DMZ'', ''Demo'', '' Northlanders'', '' The Massive, Marvel Comics' The X-Men'', and '' Star Wars.'' His web series work includes adaptations of his own short stories from the comics series '' The Massive'' and ''Conan the Barbarian'' for '' Geek & Sundry'' and YouTube'','' and his video game work includes three years on staff at Rockstar Games, co-writing '' 1979 Revolution: Black Friday'' and story contributions to '' Aliens: Fireteam Elite.'' The Big Apple Comic Con is a New York City comic book convention, the longest-running comic book/speculative fiction/pop culture convention in New York City. Identity politics is a political approach wherein people of a particular race, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, social background, social class, or other identifying factors develop political agendas that are based upon these identities. Identity politics is deeply connected with the idea that some groups in society are oppressed and begins with analysis of that oppression. The term is used primarily to describe political movements in western societies, covering nationalist, multicultural, women's rights, civil rights, and LGBT movements. Climate Change
