Brayden Coombs
Brayden Coombs (born October 24, 1986) was an American football coach who was the special teams coordinator for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL). He spent his first 10 years coaching with the Cincinnati Bengals after playing in college for the Miami RedHawks. He had been one of the youngest coordinators in the NFL at age 34. Playing career Coombs lettered four times as a defensive back and wide receiver at Miami (Ohio) University from 2005-2009. Coaching On January 11, 2020 the Detroit Lions announced the hiring of Braydon Coombs as their Special Teams Coordinator. Kerry Coombs
Kerry Coombs (born September 9, 1961) is an American football coach who is the interim head coach at Cincinnati. Previously, Coombs was an assistant coach for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League (NFL) in 2018 and 2019 and the defensive coordinator for the Ohio State Buckeyes from 2020-2021. Coaching career High school (1983–2006) Coombs was a member of the University of Dayton's 1980 Division III National Championship team while studying secondary education. After graduation, he became an assistant coach at two Cincinnati area high schools. In 1989, he accepted the position of head coach at Loveland High School in Loveland, Ohio. Two years later, he accepted the position of head coach at Colerain High School in Cincinnati, the high school from which he graduated in 1979. Darrell Wayne Bevell (born January 6, 1970) is an American football coach, who currently serves as the pass game coordinator and quarterbacks coach of the Miami Dolphins. He previously served as offensive coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings from 2006 to 2010, the Seattle Seahawks from 2011 to 2017, the Detroit Lions in 2019 and for the first 11 games of the 2020 season before being named the interim head coach for the remainder of the Lions season, and the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2021. In American football, the specific role that a player takes on the field is referred to as their "position". Under the modern rules of American football, both teams are allowed 11 players on the field at one time and have "unlimited free substitutions", meaning that they may change any number of players during any "dead ball" situation. Colerain High School (Cincinnati, Ohio)
Colerain High School is a public high school located near Cincinnati, Ohio. It is part of the Northwest Local School District. The high school is located in Colerain Township, about 14 miles northwest of downtown Cincinnati. The original school opened in 1924 under the name Colerain Centralized School at 4700 and 4850 Poole Road and is now Colerain Elementary School and Colerain Middle School. Today's Colerain High School opened in 1964 at its newer address, 8801 Cheviot Road.
