Branson Air Express
FlyBranson Travel, LLC, branded as Branson Air Express, is a defunct air travel marketing brand, based at Branson Airport near Branson, Missouri. It commenced operations in the fall of 2009. From that date until October 31, 2010, flights were operated by ExpressJet Airlines utilizing two Embraer EMB-145 regional jets. Beginning on November 1 all flights began to be operated by Vision Airlines using two Dornier 328 turboprops. For 2011, the scaled back service was operated by a single Corporate Flight Management BAe Jetstream 41. Much like Southern Skyways or Direct Air, Branson AirExpress uses the air carrier services of DOT and FAA certificated airlines, but does not have any aircraft upon its own air carrier operating certificate. Via Airlines was a US domestic regional airline offering scheduled service across the United States. The airline originally focused on scheduled Essential Air Service from Raleigh County Memorial Airport in Beckley, West Virginia, Parkersburg/Marietta in Parkersburg, West Virginia to Charlotte Douglas International Airport in Charlotte, North Carolina, but had since withdrawn from servicing any areas and maintained only their charter services. The McDonnell Douglas MD-80 is a series of five-abreast single-aisle airliners developed by McDonnell Douglas. It was produced by the developer company until August 1997 and then by Boeing Commercial Airplanes. Orange Air, LLC was an American charter airline that began service in 2014. It was based at Orlando Sanford International Airport and was headquartered on the grounds of the airport. History Orange Air began operating sports charters in late 2014. It began its first public charter service in May 2015 operating for Branson Air Express on a Cincinnati-Branson-New Orleans-Cancún routing. On October 5, 2015, the Cincinnati leg was terminated, and the Branson-New Orleans-Cancun portion of the route was transferred to Elite Airways. Orange announced on October 15, 2015, that it would be adding the Boeing 737-800 to start replacing their MD-80s and also to add more seats. The number of orders was not announced. Bombardier CRJ-200
The Bombardier CRJ100 and CRJ200 (previously Canadair CRJ100 and CRJ200) is a regional jet designed and manufactured by Bombardier Aerospace between 1991 and 2006, the first of the Bombardier CRJ family. The ''Canadair Regional Jet'' (CRJ) program, derived from the Challenger 600 business jet, was launched in early 1989. The first CRJ100 prototype made its maiden flight on 10 May 1991. Canada's first jet airliner to enter commercial service was introduced by launch customer Lufthansa in 1992. The 50 seat aircraft is powered by two GE CF34 turbofans, mounted on the rear fuselage.
