Brady Oliveira
Brady Oliveira (born August 15, 1997) is a Canadian football running back for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL). After finishing his career among the University of North Dakota's all-time leading rushers, he was drafted with the 14th overall pick in the 2019 CFL Draft, making him the first overall running back selected. Early years As a youth, Brady initially played soccer due to his father playing the sport but his skills transferred to football. The coach for the North Winnipeg Nomads asked his mother if he could play football as they had an injured player and she allowed the request. The 2020 Winnipeg Blue Bombers season was scheduled to be the 63rd season for the team in the Canadian Football League (CFL) and their 88th season overall. The Blue Bombers would have entered the season as the defending Grey Cup champions for the first time in 29 years, having ended the franchise's lengthy drought with the previous year's championship win in the 107th Grey Cup game. The 2019 Winnipeg Blue Bombers season was the 62nd season for the team in the Canadian Football League (CFL) and their 87th season overall. The Edmonton Elks are a professional Canadian football team based in Edmonton, Alberta. Jon Cornish
Jon Cornish (born November 5, 1984) is a former Canadian football running back who played nine seasons with the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was drafted 13th overall in the 2006 CFL Draft after playing college football at the University of Kansas. Cornish was inducted as a member of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 2019. While at Kansas, Cornish set the KU single-season rushing record with 1,457 yards and was selected First Team All-Big XII in his senior year. During his collegiate career, he was also selected Team Offensive MVP in both his junior year and senior year. Professionally, after taking over starting duties from Calgary's all-time leading rusher Joffrey Reynolds midway through 2011, Cornish rushed for 611 yards in the final seven games of the season, averaging 7.7 yards per carry.
