Brady Murray
Braden Murray (born August 17, 1984) is a Canadian born- American former professional ice hockey forward. He last played for HC Lugano of the Swiss National League A (NLA). He was selected 152nd overall in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft by the Los Angeles Kings. Murray was born in Brandon, Manitoba and raised in Faribault, Minnesota. His father Andy Murray, is the head coach of the Western Michigan Broncos and coached at a number of other teams as well. Brady grew up in Switzerland, Philadelphia, Hershey, Winnipeg, Calgary, Faribault and Los Angeles. His childhood friends include NHLers Alexander Steen, Zach Parise and Patrick Eaves. The centre (or center in the United States) in ice hockey is a forward (hockey), forward position of a player whose primary Hockey rink#Zones, zone of play is the middle of the ice, away from the sideboards. United States Men's National Ice Hockey Team
The United States men's national ice hockey team is based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, with its U18 and U17 development program in Plymouth, Michigan. The team is controlled by USA Hockey, the governing body for organized ice hockey in the United States. The U.S. team is currently ranked 4th in the IIHF World Rankings. The U.S. won gold medals at the 1960 and the 1980 Olympics and more recently, silver medals at the 2002 and 2010 Olympics. Patrick Campbell Eaves (born May 1, 1984) is a Canadian-born American former professional ice hockey forward. He played in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Ottawa Senators, Carolina Hurricanes, Detroit Red Wings, Nashville Predators, Dallas Stars and Anaheim Ducks. Born in Calgary, Alberta, when his father, Mike was a member of the Calgary Flames, Eaves was raised in Faribault, Minnesota and holds both Canadian and American citizenship and represented the United States in international ice hockey tournaments. Zach Parise
Zachary Justin Parise (born July 28, 1984) is an American professional ice hockey left winger for the New York Islanders of the National Hockey League (NHL). He has previously played for the New Jersey Devils and Minnesota Wild. Parise captained the Devils to the 2012 Stanley Cup Finals, where they lost to the Los Angeles Kings in six games. Parise's father, Jean-Paul, was a professional ice hockey player who played for Team Canada at the 1972 Summit Series, and for the Minnesota North Stars for several years, and his brother Jordan Parise is a retired professional hockey goaltender. Alexander Steen
Alexander Lennart Steen (born 1 March 1984) is a Canadian-born Swedish former professional ice hockey player. Steen was drafted 24th overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, and started his NHL career with Toronto. Steen was traded to the St. Louis Blues in 2008, where he played the remainder of his career. Steen won the Stanley Cup with the Blues in 2019. Steen is the son of Thomas Steen, who also played professional ice hockey and later became a conservative politician.
