Bradley Brooks
Bradley Brooks (born 20 February 2000) is an English professional darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation events. He won the 2020 PDC World Youth Championship. Career In 2017, Brooks won the Junior Darts Corporation European Open title, defeating Jarred Cole 6–5 in the final. Brooks entered UK Q School in 2018, winning a two-year Tour Card on the fourth & final day, by defeating John Goldie 5–1 in the final round. His first major run in professional darts came in late June 2018, when he made the quarter-finals of Players Championship 16 in Barnsley, only to be knocked out by eventual winner Ian White. After losing his two-year Tour Card at the end of 2019, he won it straight back on 17 January 2020 by beating Damon Heta 5–3 in the play-off match at Q School. 2019 European Darts Matchplay
The 2019 European Darts Matchplay was the eleventh of thirteen PDC European Tour events on the 2019 PDC Pro Tour. The tournament took place at the Maimarkthalle, Mannheim, Germany, from 6–8 September 2019. It featured a field of 48 players and £140,000 in prize money, with £25,000 going to the winner. Michael van Gerwen was the defending champion after defeating William O'Connor 8–2 in the previous year's final. 2022 UK Open
The 2022 Cazoo UK Open was a darts tournament staged by the Professional Darts Corporation. It was the twentieth year of the tournament where players compete in a single elimination tournament to be crowned champion. The tournament returned to Butlin's Minehead, England, between 4–6 March 2022, having been held behind closed doors at the Marshall Arena, Milton Keynes in 2021 owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. James Wade was the defending champion after defeating Luke Humphries 11–5 in the 2021 final, but he lost 10–4 to Keane Barry in the quarter-finals. Danny Noppert won his first PDC major tournament, beating Michael Smith 11–10 in the final after Smith had a dart for the title. The 2019 Ladbrokes UK Open was a darts tournament staged by the Professional Darts Corporation. It was the seventeenth year of the tournament where players compete in a single elimination tournament to be crowned champion. The tournament was being held for the sixth time at the Butlin's Resort in Minehead, England, between 1–3 March 2019, and has the nickname, "the FA Cup of darts" as a random draw is staged after each round following the conclusion of the third round until the final. Gary Anderson was the defending champion after defeating Corey Cadby 11–7 in the 2018 final. UK Open
The Cazoo UK Open is a ranking major darts tournament held annually at the Butlins Minehead Resort by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) in England. Often referred to as the "FA Cup of darts", the UK Open replicates the abolition of seedings, elimination play, and fixtures determined via open draw. One-hundred-and-sixty players compete in the multi-board event over eight-stages before the PDC’s Top 32 enter the tournament in the fourth round. PDC World Darts Championship
The PDC World Darts Championship, known for sponsorship purposes as the Cazoo World Darts Championship, organised by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC), is a World Professional Darts Championship held annually in the sport of darts. The PDC championship begins in December and ends in January and is held at Alexandra Palace in London and has been held there since 2008. It is the most prestigious of the PDC's tournaments, with the winner receiving the Sid Waddell Trophy, named in honour of the darts commentator Sid Waddell, who died in 2012. William Borland (darts Player)
William Borland (born 8 November 1996) is a Scottish darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation events. Career He has played in both BDO and PDC events, reaching the last 48 of the World Masters and the last 16 of the BDO World Trophy. Borland also plays in PDC Challenge Tour events, and thanks to his record in early 2019, he was able to qualify for the 2019 European Darts Open in Leverkusen. He made the quarter-finals of the 2019 PDC World Youth Championship on 4 November, but lost 6–3 to Keane Barry. Gerwyn Price
Gerwyn Stephen Price (born 7 March 1985) is a Welsh professional darts player and former professional rugby union and rugby league player. Nicknamed "The Iceman", he competes in events of the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC), where he is currently the World No. 4. He is a 3-time Grand Slam Champion and a former world champion, becoming the first ever Welshman to win the tournament. He is also a former world No. 1. Rusty-Jake Rodriguez (born 24 December 2000) is a professional Austrian darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation events. In 2017, he was the inaugural winner of the JDC (Junior Darts Corporation) World Championship. Career Rodriguez entered PDC qualifying school in 2017. His best result was getting to the last 64 on day four. This was not good enough to get a PDC tour card. Mervyn King (born 15 March 1966) is an English professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) tournaments. Nicknamed The King, he has reached seven PDC major TV finals and reached a peak of No. 4 in the PDC Order of Merit. Early life King first took up the game at the age of 12, playing with an old rolled-cardboard dartboard given to him by his father. Jonny Clayton
Jonny Clayton (born 4 October 1974) is a Welsh professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Nicknamed The Ferret, he was half of the Welsh team that won the 2020 PDC World Cup of Darts before winning his first televised singles title, the 2021 Masters, which would lead him to qualifying for the 2021 Premier League Darts, which he would go on to win as well. He subsequently won his first ranked televised title at the 2021 World Grand Prix.
