Bradley Scott Oleson Lashinski (born April 11, 1983) is an American-born naturalized Spanish professional basketball player who currently plays for Amyntas BC of the Greek A2 League. He is a tall point guard- shooting guard. His hometown of North Pole, Alaska, celebrates "Brad Oleson Day", every year, on April 24. College career Oleson played college basketball at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Even though Alaska Fairbanks had a record of 4-23 the season before Oleson arrived at the school, in the three seasons that Oleson played with Fairbanks, the school's record was 64-24. He also set the Great Northwest Athletic Conference record for the most Player of the Week Awards won, with 9. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position. Point guards are expected to run the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. The 2010–11 Turkish Airlines Euroleague was the 11th season of the modern era of professional Euroleague Basketball, and the first under the title sponsorship of Turkish Airlines. The 2009–10 Euroleague was the 10th season of the professional basketball competition for elite clubs throughout Europe, organised by Euroleague Basketball Company, and it was the 53rd season of the premier competition for European men's clubs overall. 2010 FIBA World Championship
The 2010 FIBA World Championship was the 16th FIBA World Championship, the international basketball world championship contested by the men's national teams. The tournament ran from 28 August to 12 September 2010. It was co-organised by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), Turkish Basketball Federation and the 2010 Organising Committee. It was considered as prestigious a competition as the Olympic Basketball Tournament. The tournament was hosted by Turkey. Sergi Vidal Plana (born April 9, 1981) is a Spanish retired professional basketball player, who played at the shooting guard and small forward positions. Pablo Prigioni (born May 17, 1977) is an Argentine-Italian former professional basketball player, currently serving as an assistant coach for the Minnesota Timberwolves. He played the point guard position, and was a member of the senior Argentina national basketball team that won the bronze medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics.
