Brad Oleson
Bradley Scott Oleson Lashinski (born April 11, 1983) is an American-born naturalized Spanish professional basketball player who currently plays for Amyntas BC of the Greek A2 League. He is a tall point guard- shooting guard. His hometown of North Pole, Alaska, celebrates "Brad Oleson Day", every year, on April 24. College career Oleson played college basketball at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Even though Alaska Fairbanks had a record of 4-23 the season before Oleson arrived at the school, in the three seasons that Oleson played with Fairbanks, the school's record was 64-24. The 2009–10 Euroleague was the 10th season of the professional basketball competition for elite clubs throughout Europe, organised by Euroleague Basketball Company, and it was the 53rd season of the premier competition for European men's clubs overall. 2010 FIBA World Championship
The 2010 FIBA World Championship was the 16th FIBA World Championship, the international basketball world championship contested by the men's national teams. The tournament ran from 28 August to 12 September 2010. It was co-organised by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), Turkish Basketball Federation and the 2010 Organising Committee. It was considered as prestigious a competition as the Olympic Basketball Tournament. The tournament was hosted by Turkey. The Liga ACB, known as Liga Endesa for sponsorship reasons, is the top professional basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system. The Liga Española de Baloncesto, also known as LEB Oro, is the second basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system after the Liga ACB. It is run by the FEB. The Liga Española de Baloncesto is divided into two categories (the other one is the LEB Plata). The LEB league was founded in 1996 and is played under FIBA rules. It was renamed LEB Oro in 2007.
