Bozhedarivka Settlement Hromada
Bozhedarivka ( uk, Божедарівка; russian: Божедаровка) is an urban-type settlement in Kamianske Raion of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast in Ukraine. It is located approximately west of Dnipro. From 1939 until February 2016 it was known as Shchorsk, in honor of Red Army commander Nikolay Shchors, but was renamed to comply with the Ukraine's law prohibiting names of Communist origin. Bozhedarivka hosts the administration of Bozhedarivka settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: Until 18 July 2020, Bozhedarivka belonged to Krynychky Raion. The raion was abolished in July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast to seven. The area of Krynychky Raion was merged into Kamianske Raion. Economy Transportation Bozhedarivka railway station is on the railroad connecting Verkhivtseve with Kryvyi Rih. Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast ( uk, Дніпропетро́вська о́бласть, translit=Dnipropetrovska oblast), also referred to as Dnipropetrovshchyna ( uk, Дніпропетро́вщина), is an administrative divisions of Ukraine, oblast (province) of central-eastern Ukraine, the most important industrial region of the country. It was created on February 27, 1932. Highway M04 (Ukraine)
Highway M04 was a Ukraine international highway connecting Znamianka to Krasnodon on the border with Russia, where it continued into Russia as the A260. In Soviet times the M04 was part of the M21. The highway stretched through four oblasts and ended at the Izvaryne-Donetsk border checkpoint which is part of Krasnodon city (Luhansk Oblast). The section from Znamianka to Debaltseve was part of European route E50, and the section from Debaltseve to the Russian border was part of European route E40. On 28 April 2021, the M04 was decommissioned and merged with the M12 to form the new M30. A hromada ( uk, територіальна громада, lit=territorial community, translit=terytorialna hromada) is a basic unit of administrative division in Ukraine, similar to a municipality. Nikolay Shchors
Mykola Oleksandrovich Shchors ( uk, Микола Олександрович Щорс; – 30 August 1919) was a Ukrainian communist. He served as Red Army commander, member of the Russian Communist Party, renowned for his personal courage during the Russian Civil War and was sometimes called the Ukrainian Chapayev. In 1918–1919 he fought against the newly established Ukrainian government of the Ukrainian People's Republic. Later he commanded the Bohunsky regiment, brigade, 1st Soviet Ukrainian division and 44th rifle division against the head of the Ukrainian People's Republic Symon Petliura and his Polish allies.
