Krynychky Raion
Krynychky Raion ( uk, Криничанський район) was a raion (district) of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, southeastern-central Ukraine. Its administrative centre was located at the urban-type settlement of Krynychky. The raion was abolished on 18 July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast to seven. The area of Krynychky Raion was merged into Kamianske Raion. The last estimate of the raion population was . Raions of Ukraine (often translated as "districts"; Ukrainian: ра́йон, tr. ''raion''; plural: райо́ни, tr. ''raiony'') are the second level of administrative division in Ukraine, below the oblast. Kamianske Raion ( uk, Кам'янський район) is a raion (district) of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Ukraine. It was created in July 2020 as part of the reform of administrative divisions of Ukraine. Three abolished raions, Krynychky, Piatykhatky, and Verkhnodniprovsk Raions, as well as Kamianske Municipality, Zhovti Vody Municipality, and the city of Vilnohirsk, which was previously incorporated as a city of oblast significance, were merged into Kamianske Raion. A hromada ( uk, територіальна громада, lit=territorial community, translit=terytorialna hromada) is a basic unit of administrative division in Ukraine, similar to a municipality.
