Bowen Ebenezer Aylsworth
Bowen Ebenezer Aylsworth (January 12, 1835 – November 10, 1914) was an Ontario political figure. He represented Lennox (provincial electoral district), Lennox in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1898 to 1902 as a Liberal Party of Ontario, Liberal member. He was born in Ernestown Township, Ontario, Ernestown Township, Lennox County, Ontario, Lennox County, Canada West, the son of David Aylsworth. He was reeve for the township from 1888 to 1889. In 1865, he married Elizabeth Ann Mills. Aylsworth was warden for Lennox and Addington County, Ontario, Lennox and Addington Counties in 1897. He was an unsuccessful candidate for a seat in the provincial assembly in 1890. His election in 1898 was declared void, but he won the subsequent by-election in 1899. George Douglas Hawley
George Douglas Hawley (April 3, 1841 – September 22, 1934) was an Ontario politician. He represented Lennox in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1879 to 1883 and in 1886 as a Liberal member. Thomas George Carscallen
Thomas George Carscallen (April 9, 1842 – March 15, 1917) was an Ontario political figure. He represented Lennox in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1902 to 1917 as a Conservative member. He was born in North Fredericksburgh Township, Lennox County, Canada West, the son of Isaac Carscallen. Carscallen began work as a painter but later became an undertaker in partnership with his brother John. In 1873, he married Melinda Mair. Carscallen served on the town council for Napanee, serving eight years as reeve and serving as mayor from 1889 to 1890 and from 1900 to 1901. He was also warden for the United Counties of Lennox and Addington in 1888. Ernestown Township, Ontario
Ernestown is an historic and present-day geographic township in Lennox and Addington County in eastern Ontario, Canada. It was originally known as Second Town because it was surveyed after Kingston Township, but was renamed in 1784 after Prince Ernest Augustus, fifth son of George III. In 1998, it became part of the municipality (township) of Loyalist. History Shortly after the American Revolution, some former members of Edward Jessup's Loyal Rangers settled in this area. Lennox County is a historic county in the Canadian province of Ontario which now forms part of Lennox and Addington County. It was named after Charles Lennox, 3rd Duke of Richmond. Its territory is the same as what now composes the town of Greater Napanee.
