Hindi cinema, popularly known as Bollywood and formerly as Bombay cinema, refers to the film industry based in Mumbai, engaged in production of motion pictures in Hindi language. The popular term Bollywood, is a portmanteau of "Bombay" (former name of Mumbai) and " Hollywood". The industry is a part of the larger Indian cinema, which also includes South Cinema and other smaller film industries. ''Pyar Jhukta Nahin'' () is a 1985 Indian Hindi-language film directed by Vijay Sadanah, starring Mithun Chakraborty, Padmini Kolhapure, Danny Denzongpa, Asrani, and Bindu. Laxmikant–Pyarelal were nominated for Best Music Director. It was a blockbuster at the box office, earning 4.5 crores with a production budget of less than 50 lakhs and the third highest-grossing movie of 1985. The film is a remake of the 1977 Pakistani film '' Aina'' which itself was structurally similar to '' Aa Gale Lag Jaa''.
