''Boggle'' is a word game invented by Allan Turoff and originally distributed by Parker Brothers. The game is played using a plastic grid of lettered dice, in which players look for words in sequences of adjacent letters. Rules One player begins the game by shaking a covered tray of 16 cubic dice, each with a different letter printed on each of its sides. The dice settle into a 4×4 tray so that only the top letter of each cube is visible. After they have settled into the tray, a three-minute sand timer is started and all players simultaneously begin the main phase of play. Each player searches for words that fit the following criteria: * Words must be at least three letters in length. * Each letter after the first must be a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal neighbor of the one before it. * No individual letter cube may be used more than once in a word. * No capitalized or hyphenated words are allowed. Wink Martindale
Winston Conrad "Wink" Martindale (born December 4, 1933) is an American disc jockey, radio personality, game show host, and television producer. In his six-decade career, he is best known for hosting ''Gambit'' from 1972 to 1976 (and again from 1980 to 1981), ''Tic-Tac-Dough'' from 1978 to 1985, ''High Rollers'' from 1987 to 1988, and ''Debt'' from 1996 to 1998. Career Radio Martindale was born in Jackson, Tennessee, and started his career as a disc jockey at age 17 at WPLI in Jackson, earning $25 a week. After moving to WTJS, he was hired away for double the salary by Jackson's only other station, WDXI. ''Trivial Pursuit'' is an American game show that ran on The Family Channel from June 7, 1993, to December 30, 1994. Egg Timer
An egg timer or kitchen timer is a device whose primary function is to assist in timing during cooking; the name comes from the first timers initially being used for the timing of cooking eggs. Early designs simply counted down for a specific period of time. Some modern designs can time more accurately by depending on water temperature rather than an absolute time. Technology Traditionally egg timers were small hourglasses and the name has come to be synonymous with this form.
